Clayton Reynolds, 39, of Omaha, Nebraska, has been sentenced in federal court for drug trafficking and firearm offenses. United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that on November 25, 2025, Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. sentenced Reynolds to a total of 274 months in prison—214 months for drug trafficking and an additional 60 months for the firearm charge. The sentences will run consecutively. There is no parole in the federal system. After serving his sentence, Reynolds will be under supervised release for five years. He also agreed to the forfeiture of firearms and U.S. currency seized during the investigation.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Greater Omaha Safe Streets Task Force began investigating Reynolds in April 2024 due to his suspected involvement in distributing fentanyl in Omaha. Over three months, Reynolds sold fentanyl to a confidential informant six times and sold a firearm on one occasion.
A search warrant executed on July 22, 2024 at Reynolds’s residence uncovered two pounds of pure methamphetamine along with other drugs including fentanyl, amphetamine, oxycodone, marijuana, crack cocaine, ecstasy, cocaine, and Xanax. Authorities also found $18,062 believed to be drug proceeds and a shotgun at his home; an additional $14,000 and a handgun were seized from a storage unit he used.
“This case was investigated by Federal Bureau of Investigation and Omaha Police Department.”
