Judge Brian C. Buescher announced on May 4 that the Local Rules Committee of the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska is conducting its annual review of the court’s local rules. The committee is inviting members of the court family and legal community to submit suggestions for revisions.

Suggestions should be sent to Roger Mastalir at roger_mastalir@ned.uscourts.gov by June 5, 2026. After receiving input, the committee will consider all recommendations before proposing amendments to the Judicial Council in October.

The current version of the local rules can be accessed on the court’s website at https://www.ned.uscourts.gov/attorney/local-rules.

Buescher thanked participants for their involvement, saying, “Thank you for your input in this important matter.”

The invitation underscores ongoing efforts by the court to ensure that its procedures remain current and responsive to feedback from those who use them.
