Federal grand jury returns indictments against ten defendants in Nebraska

The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska has announced that a federal Grand Jury has returned nine unsealed indictments, charging 10 individuals with a range of offenses. The indictments are formal accusations and do not constitute evidence of guilt; all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

According to U.S. Attorney Lesley A. Woods, the charges include offenses related to child pornography, drug distribution, theft of government funds, assault, escape from custody, international parental kidnapping, bank burglary, and computer-related crimes.

Dylan Piche, 24, from Grand Island, Nebraska, faces two counts: receipt and distribution of child pornography between November 2023 and June 2024, and possession of child pornography in July 2024. If convicted on both counts, Piche could face up to 20 years in prison per count along with fines and supervised release.

Thomas Leone Henry, 37, of Williams, Arizona is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and over 400 grams of fentanyl on May 30, 2025. He faces a potential sentence ranging from 10 years to life imprisonment if convicted.

Jennifer Suing, 48, from Lincoln, Nebraska is charged with possession with intent to distribute at least 50 grams of methamphetamine during February and March 2025. If found guilty she could receive between 25 years and life imprisonment.

Lloyd A. Nelson Jr., age 70 of Omaha is accused of theft of government funds spanning from March 2022 to September 2025. Conviction carries up to a decade in prison.

Mallory M. Chartraw (40) and Maria K. Siemsen (41), both from Lincoln are jointly charged with conspiracy to distribute over 400 grams of fentanyl beginning February 2022 through April 2025. They also face charges related to possession and distribution of fentanyl across several dates in March and April of this year.

Charles Aldrich (18), Macy resident, is indicted on two counts: assault with a dangerous weapon intending bodily harm on August 25th this year and use of a firearm during a crime of violence on the same date.

Travis M. Knipp (29) from Omaha is accused of escape from custody in August.

Salih M. Samin Totakhil (37), also from Omaha is charged with international parental kidnapping between March 2022 and June this year.

Carlos Hernandez Moreno (21) from Kearney faces two counts relating to bank burglary as well as damaging a protected computer system during an incident mid-August this year.

“Indictments are charging documents that contain one or more individual counts that are merely accusations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty,” said U.S. Attorney Lesley A. Woods.
