The federal Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska has issued 12 unsealed indictments involving 14 defendants, as announced by United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods. These indictments serve as charging documents and do not imply guilt; all defendants are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.

Katherine L. Woitaszewski from Omaha faces two charges related to methamphetamine distribution. The charges could lead to a life sentence and substantial fines if she is convicted.

Samuel Rosberg of Creighton is indicted on three counts concerning possession of unregistered firearms, including a silencer and shotguns with barrels shorter than legal requirements. Each count carries a potential maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

Leah Burleigh and Johnathon Davenport, both from Lincoln, are charged with offenses related to firearm acquisition and possession. Burleigh faces up to 15 years in prison for straw purchasing a firearm, while both are accused of making false statements during the purchase process.

Romeo Edilzar Yaxcal-Tiul from Omaha is facing charges involving false representation of a Social Security number, use of false immigration documents, and resisting a federal officer. Convictions could result in several years’ imprisonment.

Angela Rocio Urrutia Cruz and Miguel Angel Salazar-Zuniga from Omaha are implicated in encouraging illegal entry into the United States over several years. Their seven-count indictment includes conspiracy charges that carry significant penalties upon conviction.

Additional individuals have been charged with re-entering the United States illegally after previous deportations or felony convictions. These cases involve various penalties depending on their specific circumstances, including potential imprisonment terms ranging from two to twenty years.
